Does anyone in Melbourne have or know of a spare room? My friend Emma / ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) eskimodead is from NZ but moving from Europe to Melbourne and needs a place from mid Feb - mid July. She has many people that can vouch for her. ;)
I havent really found any words to post for ages bar some memes. Frustratingly, I just seem to have less and less to write. Facebook keeps me connected to everyone now anyway.
The main thing you should know is I'm alive, I'm happy, I'm going to Australia for 7 weeks next week and when I return I'll be finding a place with JAn. A nice place for parties, guests and most of all, for us.

1. Where is your cell phone? My iPhone which has just died today funnily enough. Anyone got a spare phone?

Somewhere between party in the Purple Palace in Edinburgh, sit on the beach in QLD with my family, or sit and watch a comedy quiz with JAn and a couple of bottles of wine. Bad elnglllgish
7. Your dream last night? Of always the same theme - my childhood home
8. Your favorite drink? Bourbon and coke. Appletiser and Vodka.
9. Your dream/goal? Quite conventional - To have my own house decorated by my own hand

JAn found a festival the day after Boxing Day: Neuwerk Festival - 27.12.08 Düsseldorf Stahlwerk- Nitzer Ebb, Diary of Dreams, Rotersand, Soman, Kloq, Destroid. LINEUP = NO TIME TO GO TO THE TOILET OR GET A DRINK! We've started to rustle up interest for this one.. especially looking at virul3nt and pdeathfaerie due to its proximity to Holland.....

JAn: Wow. London couldn’t last with more than 2 days without rain. I’m proud of it for lasting out that long.
On a dryer note, Plague Sequence are doing another gig on Friday night. We don't expect the same big turnout as last time, mainly because everyone we know is flying to Amphi Festival, but hey! JAn and I are also doing DJing out first vs since ... 2 or 3 years and we're going to have fun regardless. :)

•OH GOD THE NEW SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS TRACK IS AMAZING. I just had to tell someone. Perfectly measured strengths from both SE and Feindflug. It takes my breath away.
•I started a new job a couple of months ago I now work full time in IT doing support/ development with Macs. With all this Mac experience I should be able to go places.... to the corner shop.

Funniest recent memory is probably everything at the hotel at Mera Luna Festival last year or even the year before too.. Conspiring to order room service for the cleaning cupboard (Mr Pinchy the lobster and other expensive items), reception ringing our room to say they had complaints, changing the letters around on the conference board, accidentally smashing the pool light with a donut, using a traffic cone as a football, 3 trufs and you're out etc injoke etc.
4. Most valued quality in a person.
Humour, not taking things seriously, a twinkle in the eye
5. Weirdest habbit you have when by your self.
Clucking, general bird noises
6. Name one thing that scares you.
My parents dying

G;Day. Had an amazing time at Golgotha. So weird but so good to see everyone. Was overwhelming at times. And its so weird to go to a club where you're not anonymous like in London. Having said that, it was really good to meet a bunch of new people.. including people who like good music. All good in helping me want to move back. I did joke with some people that I felt a bit "sweet home alabama" but really, melbourne is anything but unsophisticated. I especially enjoyed catching up with Nix who always understands me so well without me saying anything, Naffey, Benjatron, Tom, Katie, Andy, Miles, Gerry, Kate, Gen, my sister Anne, Tombear etcccc. Pity Lily was out of town! Pity Petey moved to Perth!
DJing was so fun although people were only responding to really hard stuff so I couldnt play some tracks I wanted to. Although I did play Code 64 *snigger* I danced much of the night, I always dance more in Melbourne.. weird.
My sleeping routine is completely fucked. Oh well. Not quite hot enough for beach visits yet. Ive got sunburned just from walking around!
Today I'm booked in to have my teeth whitened and my eyebrows tattooed. My first and last ever tattoo! I've been having all sorts of ridiculous self indulgence appointments.
Reunited with my sister Anne. I also have seen my other sister Kate who was sporting a "I LIVED IN AUSTRALIA'S RACIST REGIME AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS LOUSY T-SHIRT" shirt. Good to know nothing's changed ;)
Benjatron and Naffey were talking about a trip to Bimbos so for anyone who is interested, how does Wednesday night sound? If not, when? Do they still have those cheap pizzas? SAVE MY NUMBER 0410 743 330 |

I've been thinking about cutting my hair for a while. But I'm way too scared to do it since it grows so slowly and I really love it. It's just so bloody ANNOYING to maintain! And everyone has short hair.
This is my latest inspiration for a potential style: (the cut not the colours)
When I'm back I've booked in lots of pampering treatments and sessions including a trip to the Wildilocks salon at least only for a colour - mechanoir I'll be in touch!

Ahh a day off being sick at home. True I could go and change the world like Ferris Bueller. Or I could just sit around at home. (well its not actually my home)
I even turned on the TV at one stage and watched Josie & The Pussycats. Awful American shite. Why do people all have it in their DVD collections? Just because it has Seth Green in it, doesn't mean it's funny or any different from mainstream cheese
I also watched a bit of a show called The 4400" which was even worse so I put on the Swedish subtitles to try and use the time effectively. That lasted 10 minutes.
I could almost welcome a chronic/ dehabilitating illness if I knew I'd eventually recover. Wouldnt mind have more time off like this :D Shouldnt make such irreverent or jinxy comments. Maybe I can get sick leave for homesickness. HOMESICK LEAVE :D
What next? A bath or maybe some ebay browsing. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE XXXXXXXXX |
